The 2016 Roots VII Conference will focus on the long tradition of social activism among Gestaltists and the work that is being done today. These conferences have provided an opportunity to focus on Gestalt therapy theory, its roots and development, and the rich diversity of its application. Among the topics presented will be “Identity House: A Gestalt Experiment Reexamined,” “Embodied Support for Those Engaged with Social Change and Social Activism,” “Tracking the Development of Individual and Collective Agency in a Gestalt Process Group,” “The Experiment of the Trojan Guild,” "The Role of Vulnerability and Contempt in Resolving Social Conflict,” “Growing Old with Dignity as a Refugee in Sweden” – and more. Presenters will include: Burt Lazarin, Trevor Bentley, Rosie Burrows, Eugenio Molini, Seán Gaffney, Joseph Melnick, Joelle Gartner, Sari Scheinberg, and others. Join us for the seventh in the series of Roots Conferences.
